Annual Appeal

Most children and many adults have little to no knowledge about the importance of farming or where food comes from other than a grocery store or fast food restaurant. Visiting Gorman Heritage Farm to explore how food is grown and how animals are raised helps children understand where their food comes from and make better food choices. By learning how a farm works, children experience the natural world in a way that helps make the connection between the social, ecological and economic importance of agriculture in their lives. They see, feel, taste, touch and hear how food goes from seed to table, bringing to life school subjects such as science, math, language arts and nutrition.

Will you help educate kids about the importance of farming, nature and healthy food choices? Your gift today will do just that. Please use the attached envelope to return your tax-deductible contribution or donate online at www.gormanfarm.org.

Your support is critical in Building Healthy Futures.
